Kate Meserve, MSW, LCSW
I am the owner/therapist at Sienna Counseling, PLLC, based in Missouri City, Texas. Providing both in person and virtual video therapy allows me to serve clients in the Houston area, as well as across the state of Texas.
Prior to private practice, I was fortunate to work in two of Houston’s best hospital systems, Methodist Hospital and MD Anderson, as well as our community’s leading LGBTQIA+ health clinic and counseling center, Legacy Community Health and the Montrose Center. I have specialized experience serving clients encountering health issues, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ related concerns, and other life transitions.
I strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment, where my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. My approach is to validate my client’s experiences, offer tools and resources when appropriate, and instill hope that their situation will get better and they have the ability to make positive change.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College, received a Master of Social Work from University of Houston, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

Rates
$150 per session
Payment Methods Accepted
Credit/Debit Cards, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Insurance
Most insurance accepted. For insurance that is out-of-network a “superbill” can be provided for those who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider.
